YPC Media’s Domain Name Policy

  1. If YPC Media has purchased a domain name for you, YPC Media will be the owner of that domain for the duration of the contract period. For as long as YPC Media owns the domain name YPC Media will take care of the renewal fees.
  2. If, at any time during the contract you request a change of ownership YPC Media will release the domain name to you at no extra charge, you will then be responsible for any renewal fees of your domain name.
  3.  If you cancel your contract and request ownership of your domain name, YPC Media will release the domain name to you at no extra charge, you will then be responsible for any renewal fees of your domain name.
  4. If you cancel your contract and you do not request ownership of your domain name YPC Media is not responsible if the domain name expires after your cancellation.
  5. If you decide not to renew at the end of your contract and request ownership of your domain name, YPC Media will release the domain name to you at no extra charge, you will then be responsible for any renewal fees of your domain name.
  6.  If you decide not to renew at the end of your contract and do not request ownership of your domain name YPC Media will not renew your domain name, causing it to expire and be eligible for public sale.

In the event that you would like to gain ownership of your domain name after you have cancelled and/or did not renew your contract causing the domain name to expire, there is usually a 65 day grace period before the domain name will be eligible for public sale again. YPC Media cannot guarantee that the domain will go up for sale in that time nor can YPC Media guarantee that you will be able to purchase that domain after the 65 day period either.
